Ramsey Application

The user that wants to find people to work out with:

I go to Ramsey to work out sporadically, but never can seem to get in a rhythm or be motivated enough when I am by myself.  Also, working out alone just isn’t as fun as it would be if I had a friend or work out partner and at the same time we would keep each other motivated and accountable.

The problem is that I don’t know many people at UGA that like to work out, and I wouldn’t know how to go about asking if someone wanted to be a “work out partner” in the first place.  Also, I would want someone who was relatively of the same skill level as myself, or at least interested in doing the same work out routines as I plan on doing.

WorkMeOut would help this user to locate friends and meet new people who are of the same or similar skill level that want to work out.  It would enable the users to schedule times and plan accordingly, greatly enhancing their work out experience.

Step by step:

I log onto WorkMeOut using my facebook username and password.  My profile info is automatically imported into the WorkMeOut social network, and I m asked to fill out a quick form about my work out preferences. I check when I am available, and my average skill level, along with some other questions, and voila, a list of other users who have similar preferences as myself pop up.  Most of these users are people I have never met before, but judging from their facebook profiles I feel comfortable enough to message them about working out.  Also, there are some users who I am already friends with, and I know they would make great work out partners as well.
